Tasmanian Walk
During Dyspraxia Awareness Week 2006, Gail Drury, a grandmother of a Dyspraxic child walked from Launceston to Hobart, a distance of some 200 klms to raise much needed funds for the ADA and raise community awareness of Dyspraxia. Gail arrived safely in Hobart, a little foot sore and weary but jubilant that she had completed this mammoth task. Gail managed to raise in excess of $1,500 for our organisation. We are truly thankful for her efforts and of those who supported her. If you would like to organise a fundraiser of your own to assist the ADA raise much needed funds, please contact Christine at head office.
