NATIONAL DYSPRAXIA WORKSHOPS 2009 - 2010 -  ‘Dyspraxia – The teaching/learning process?’  

The ADA will be presenting a series of one day Skill Building Workshops which are designed to explore how children with Dyspraxia learn and how as educators (parents/teachers) we can make the teaching/learning process easier and more effective.

ADVANCE NOTICE - 2010 NATIONAL WORKSHOPS

The ADA will be holding a series of 3 day National Dyspraxia workshops between July and September 2010. Venues and dates are being confirmed and when finalised the event details will be included in the Term 2 ADA newsletter and posted on this website and Facebook.

Learning Disability Awareness Project

The learning Disability Awareness Project funded by WSAAS and auspiced by ADA Inc is now completed. The project was designed to support families of children with learning difficulties/disabilities, identify gaps in services and develop self-help resources and training programs. Support group meetings continue and are held on the 2nd Tuesday in the month during school terms from 10:30 - 12:30 at 'Can-Do Cottage' 82 Cox St South Windsor NSW. Victoria Support Group

Our Victorian support group is still going strong and the Mentor, Karen is looking for more ADA members to join the support group meetings which are held in Glen Waverley.  If any member of the ADA is interested in attending this support group, please contact Christine at Head Office or by email to register your interest.
